GCE Launches NITROGAS NG for Continuous On-Site Nitrogen Generation

Table of contents
GCE has introduced the new NITROGAS NG series with pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology. It's a new generation of modular nitrogen generators, engineered to deliver reliable, cost-efficient, and high-purity on-site nitrogen generation for a wide range of industrial applications.
The NITROGAS NG range combines operational flexibility with intelligent automation to help businesses reduce dependency on external gas supply and maintain uninterrupted production.
The PSA nitrogen generator series includes eight models with flow rates from 5 to 100 Nm³/h and guaranteed purity levels ranging from 95% to 99.999%. Designed with a dual-level modular structure, the system can be expanded through additional adsorption modules, while multiple units can be combined to achieve higher production capacities as operational demands grow.
On-Site Nitrogen Generation for Changing Production Needs
The NITROGAS NG adapts easily to varying production environments, from compact industrial setups to large-scale manufacturing facilities requiring continuous nitrogen generation. It is suitable for industries including food and beverage, wineries, breweries, electronics manufacturing, heat treatment, and laser cutting.
By shifting to on-site nitrogen production, businesses can reduce reliance on cylinder deliveries and bulk gas supply logistics while improving operational efficiency and supply continuity. The system also helps eliminate concerns around empty cylinders, delivery delays, and production interruptions linked to external gas supply.
We designed the NITROGAS NG nitrogen generators to immediately reduce operating costs for a wide range of customers—from those with medium-small nitrogen requirements to large industrial consumers using several hundred thousand cubic metres per year.
Industry 4.0 Nitrogen Generation System
At the core of the NITROGAS NG is a smart and highly efficient nitrogen generation system that uses carbon molecular sieve (CMS) technology to produce nitrogen from compressed air class 1.4.1 in accordance with ISO 8573-1:2010.
Integrated PLC supervision continuously monitors pressure regulation, flow rate, moisture content and temperature, while enabling users to configure alarms and production parameter limits. In addition, a zirconium oxide oxygen analyser continuously measures residual oxygen content in the nitrogen flow to verify nitrogen purity levels, while a self-cleaning design discharges any non-specified gas into the atmosphere to ensure correct purity.
Users can interface with the Industry 4.0-ready NITROGAS NG via an Ethernet port or Wi-Fi router. They can directly control production parameters from their computer or mobile device and generate reports. For those not connected, the NITRIGAS NG can create reports and export them via a USB port.
The NITROGAS NGrange also delivers one of the market’s lowest air factors (ratio between inlet air and nitrogen outlet flow rate), significantly reducing compressed air consumption to produce nitrogen. When nitrogen demand drops to zero, the system automatically detects and switches into energy-saving mode to minimise power usage.
Available through GCE and ESAB distribution networks, the NITROGAS NG reflects GCE’s continued focus on delivering high-quality gas control products and services. With international manufacturing, sales and supply capabilities, GCE supports customers worldwide with innovative solutions across the medical, industrial and speciality gas industries.
