GCE Introduces Ohio Medical HTM Medical Vacuum Solution for Healthcare Facilities

GCE Medical has launched the Ohio Medical HTM Medical Vacuum Plant, expanding its source equipment portfolio for healthcare facilities operating under HTM standards.

With this addition, GCE Medical continues to strengthen its end-to-end medical gas offering, supporting healthcare facilities across the medical gas pathway, from central source equipment through to point-of-use applications.

The new HTM medical vacuum plant has been developed as an integrated solution that brings vacuum generation, filtration, monitoring, and control together in one system.

Dependable Vacuum Source for Essential Applications

The medical vacuum generator uses oil-lubricated rotary vane technology to generate a continuous vacuum supply for the medical gas pipeline system.

The system incorporates duplex bacterial filtration, allowing one filter to remain in operation while the other can be serviced. Automatic duty rotation helps balance pump operating hours, while N+1 configurations provide additional capacity and redundancy for healthcare facilities.

With an operating vacuum level of -600 mbar / -450 mmHg, the system is designed to meet the demands of applications where a consistent vacuum supply is required.

A Complete Package

The medical vacuum generator brings the key components together on a single skid-mounted platform, including vacuum pumps, receivers, bacterial filters, control equipment, and pre-assembled pipework.

This modular design helps simplify installation and commissioning, while Duplex to Hexaplex configurations provide flexibility for different facility requirements.

A PLC-based control system with a touchscreen HMI provides visibility of vacuum levels, operating status, run hours and alarms. The system also supports BMS connectivity.

Built for Reliable Medical Gas Infrastructure

The Ohio Medical HTM medical vacuum plant is designed in accordance with recognised requirements including HTM 02-01 and ISO 7396-1 with bacterial filtration compliant.

The launch further expands GCE Medical's source equipment offering, providing healthcare facilities with a modular vacuum solution that combines proven technology, filtration, redundancy and integrated control.
