GCE Medical has launched the Ohio Medical HTM medical air plant, expanding its source equipment portfolio for healthcare facilities operating under HTM standards.

With this addition, GCE Medical continues to strengthen its end-to-end offering, supporting the medical gas pathway from source equipment through to point-of-use applications.

The new HTM Medical Air Plant has been developed as an integrated solution that brings generation, treatment, monitoring, and control together in one system.

Oil-Free Technology

At the heart of this medical air generator is 100% oil-free scroll compressor technology. By removing oil from the compression process, the system is designed to support medical air quality requirements while reducing the need for oil-related maintenance.

The air is further treated through twin-tower heatless desiccant dryers and a three-stage filtration system, eliminating moisture, particles, and contaminants before the air enters the medical gas pipeline system.

Built for Modern Healthcare Facilities

The medical air plant is supplied as a complete, skid-mounted package, with the compressors, receivers, dryers, filtration, controls, and interconnecting pipework integrated into a single platform.

This modular approach helps simplify installation and commissioning, while Duplex to Hexaplex configurations provide flexibility as facility requirements vary.

A PLC-based control system and touchscreen HMI provide visibility of plant status, alarms, and operating information. BMS connectivity also supports integration with wider facility monitoring systems.

Supporting HTM-Compliant Medical Gas Infrastructure

The Ohio Medical HTM medical air plant is designed in accordance with applicable medical gas pipeline and compressed-air quality requirements, including ISO 7396-1, HTM 02-01, and European Pharmacopoeia requirements for air quality.
